Mrs. Vogel has been at New Hope since she was 8 months old! Mrs. Vogel was in Mrs. Prewitt and Mrs. Rothe’s first graduating preschool class 25 years ago.
Despite a four-year college break, Mrs. Vogel has been at NHCS and started working with students one-on-one when she was still in High School. Mrs. Vogel attended Concordia University-Mequon and studied Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in special education.
In addition to being New Hope Christian School’s Enhanced Learning Support Teacher, she is also the student ministries director for New Hope Church.
Mrs. Vogel loves working in youth ministry and with students of all ages, because she believes that the youth of today have the capacity to love God, love others and do stuff – like change the world!
Sarah is married to Ken, who’s practically a New Hope celebrity. Funny man Ken is serious during the week as a branch manager at Chase bank. He has volunteered at NHCS teaching Junior Achievement and is looking forward to teaching it again in the near future. Sarah and Ken have a mutual love for seeing Needtobreathe in concert and sending people greeting cards.
Fun Fact: Sarah played kickball with Crave (New Hope Church’s high school youth group) and had to get reconstructive knee surgery after. But at least she made it to first base!
